Nesta quinta feira (21), a MTV americana anunciou as nominações ao Video Movie Awards 2011 com grande destaque para Katy Perry, que sozinha concorre a 9 astronautas de prata, sendo quase todas as categorias, seguida por Kanye West com 8 indicações. Depois de Kanye vem Adele, que concorre a 7 prêmios.
Contando com as parcerias, Kanye west é o mais indicado com 11 nominações, fruto de parcerias com Katy Perry, Rihanna e Kid Cudi.

Se em 2010 a cantora Lady gaga foi indicada a 13 categorias levou 8 prêmios pra casa, este ano ela tem apenas três indicações.
